i went to see Jonathan play a little after he had become the “next small thing” on the underground musical horizon. There was something about him not wanting to let go of his childhood with a certain original adult hepness that came across.. And he was a much better guitar player with a beat up-edy spontaneous stage presence: his unique brand of lo-fi rockability.
