Another 60’s reckoning record from the oblong brain trust that was the Holy Modal Rounders and their

guitarzan Steve Weber at his errant best. It don’t seem right cause it don’t seem right. It was old timey for right now.

Mr. Rundgren has had a long storied career as a performer and producer. I harken back to his early endeavor

with his band the Nazz (not British) despite appearances. The instrumental flourish that ends this piece is a showstopper proving that no breakup songs are ever over. The ending slips from apparent audibility but follows us forever maybe propping up our spirit.

Better not to insult the enormity of this man’s 60 years in music. That we have such magnificence to witness.
