No record of American arts and letters would be complete without the hilarious wonderment of Ken Nordine’s tragi-comedic narrations. He accomplished something that never existed except it was right in front of us all the time. The voice of all voices with the greatest of ease. His sound portraits created reassuring worlds that both probe and support us. Almost a conscience, sometimes a long -trekked joke. Fatherly, like a priest who finally got married. He wears the hat of hope unbothered by bother. Out on his dreamscapes and beyond the artificial borders of expectations comes the cream of the crop. It’s the jazz of words: Ken Nordine!
