I do love melodic guitar hooks that run throughout a song. The lovely one in this new composition from Blake Mills is also shredded by an introspective solo. The alluring progression of melody prevails along like some formal procession. Wonder how he found and decided to assemble the piece around it. Just out and plenty triumphant. Mr. Mills originally played in the band Dawes and as a much traveled session musician.
