Many years ago, at our local community radio station, WCUW, Tom Farmarie volunteered to do a soul show. He immediately adopted the dj nome de plum, “The Cosmic Boogie Man.” And he was just that. Encyclopedic knowledge merged with on -air panache. His voluminous collection fed the show leaving no stone unturned. And from it, these guys from Detroit mainly and then New Jersey.
