Thought I might weigh in as we soldier on into the final 153 songs on The Bop Shop for the quivering, honey- sucking year of 2023. Hey, we have barely broken a sweat getting to this juncture. My thanks to Al, Charlie, Walter, Linda, and the two dollar Bills who have shared their favorites on various posts. And thanks to the many incisive comments about our humble offerings. If you got a contestant to share, write down a few lines about it and send it along to me. My faint hope is that somewhere along the way one of these songs will stop you in your tracks and you’ll have to pull the car over or put down your coffee cup, exhilarated, replenished, stupefied by their creativity.
