Sam Amidon has been playing music since he was 3. It’s hard to pick just one piece that stands apart from the humble beauty and quiet power of his work. Quiet is an accurate descriptor for the pace of his work. He is clearly interested in traditional music and choses to re- present it in lieu of making new compositions. They are typically meditative, hypnotic, respectful, devotional treatments. I’ve included two other projects for a deeper picture.
