Just wanted to let you know of this event happening 3.15.23 at the Pop Up JMAC, 20 Franklin St. 7-9 pm in Worcester, MA. It will feature live and recorded presentations of musicians born during the winter months that were profiled in the Music Lives 365 calendar. Hope you can make it.

Paul Westerberg came to public attention as frontsman for the Minneapolis rock outfit the Replacements. Since they disbanded, his solo work, of which “As Far As I Know” is a primal exemplar, displays a unique, catchy, lo-fi rock soul. Also, he plays every instrument on the record, Folker. I do love it when a musician has the diverse chops to make a record that way. So if you can play this on your car stereo system and listen to it 4 or 5 times in a row relatively loud as you drive around doing errands, maybe you will experience that spell that grabs you when you happen upon a song with undeniable magnetism!
